Course Calendar

Course Information

All licensees and registrants will have a full calendar year to take required CE. Virtual classes have a minimum of 5 students to make a course. Please allow adequate time for scheduling. Class times and dates are subject to change.

NO REFUNDS AVAILABLE.

RESCHEDULING IS SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE LICENSEE/REGISTRANT.

Important License Information:

1. Plumber's Apprentice:

Does not have to take CPE – Continuing Professional Education to maintain this Registration unless there is an endorsement on the apprentice card.

2. Drain Cleaner or Residential Utility Installer:

Required to take a 6 Hour CPE – Continuing Professional Education Course.

3. License Holders & Registrants – Not including Plumber’s Apprentice (see #1):

The 6 Hour CPE – Continuing Professional Education Course will satisfy your yearly requirement with subjects containing: health protection, energy conservation and water conservation.

5. Journeyman Exam:

Must take these five separate courses = 48 Hours:

+ OSHA 10 Hour Course

+ 8 Hour Residential IRC Code Course

+ 18 Hours IPC/UPC Code

+ 6 Hour CPE – Continuing Education Course (Same Year or Different Year)

+ 6 Hour CPE – Continuing Education Course (Same Year or Different Year)



4. Tradesman Plumber – Limited Exam:

Must take these three separate courses = 24 Hours:

+ OSHA 10 Hour Course

+ 8 Hour Residential IRC Code Course

+ 6 Hour CPE – Continuing Education

All virtual Continuing Education and training program courses are accepted and approved by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners as classroom training.
